What we collect

Almost nothing. BIOMETRE.org is a fully static site with no server, no database, and no user accounts. We keep a privacy-friendly page-view count (see Analytics below), which records no personal data and no cookies. Nothing you enter into the site is collected or transmitted to us.

Analytics

We use GoatCounter to count page views. It is cookieless and does not track individuals across sites: it stores the page visited, the referrer, the browser and platform, the country, and a screen-size bucket. No IP address is stored — GoatCounter uses a salted hash that is discarded daily purely to de-duplicate visits. See GoatCounter's privacy policy. If your browser sends a Do Not Track signal, or you block the script, nothing is counted.

The readiness calculator

All scoring happens locally in your browser. Any data you enter into the calculator — plant name, product name, and scoring selections — stays on your device. When you export a snapshot, the resulting JSON file is saved directly to your computer and is never sent anywhere.

Cookies

This site does not set cookies.

Third-party services

The site is hosted on GitHub Pages. GitHub may collect server access logs (IP address, browser user agent, referrer) as part of normal hosting operations. See GitHub's privacy statement for details.
